Casey Delks

My name is Casey Delks, and I have been passionate about whitetails since my first hunt accompanying a friend when I was 13 years old. A spark was lit and it has been a part of my life and my families since that first season back in 1993.

Over the last 30+ years, I've dedicated countless hours to understanding mature bucks, habitat management, hunting strategy, and what it truly takes to consistently find success on older age-class deer. Along the way, I've been fortunate enough to harvest over 100 deer, including several record book deer scoring well over 160 with my largest being 203 P&Y inches.

While I enjoy the challenge of chasing mature bucks, my passion extends beyond simply filling tags. I enjoy studying deer behavior, improving properties, helping hunters solve problems, and sharing the lessons learned through years of success, failure, and observation.

One of the things I've learned is that every property and every deer is different. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. My goal is to help hunters make better decisions, maximize the potential of their property, and create more opportunities on mature bucks.

Whether through consulting, writing, podcasting, or sharing stories from the field, I hope to provide practical information that helps hunters enjoy the journey and become more effective stewards of the land they hunt.

When I'm not chasing whitetails, I'm a husband, father, mindset coach, and lifelong student of personal growth and the outdoors.

Thanks for stopping by, and I look forward to connecting with you.
